According to social media posts, Tyler had a 4.0 GPA in high school and received a scholarship to Utah State University.
A 2017 Halloween photo shows him in a costume riding Trump's shoulders standing next to someone with a toy gun. Additionally, investigators interviewed a family member of Robinson who stated that Robinson had become more political in recent years. Robinson came to dinner prior to September 10th. And in the conversation with another family member, Robinson mentioned Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU. They talked about why they didn't like him and the viewpoints that he had. But was it a Charlie Kirk thing or was it general about him, you know, having these radicalized views? I think it's both. Investigators are still working to piece together his motives, searching for answers as many questions remain. He sends a private message to his roommate saying the gun is in a towel in the bushes.
So why did he say it? Because he wanted the friend to pick it up, I assume. Do you think he wanted to get caught? If you are clearly trying to avoid capture, why are you giving such clear hints and information to people? He went back to his hometown. I mean, he told his dad he did it. Which is how he was finally apprehended. According to the authorities, his father reached out to a youth pastor who helped Tyler turn himself in. People who do this kind of thing don't anticipate getting away with it. They don't. They can't. Oh, he wanted to get away with it. You saw him run. We know he was a straight A student. So, the middle of the night, they see the sleeping arrangements and Benny sleeping in a remote control folding bed that he gets stuck inside of. And they're like driving him around and he's like screaming to get out of it. I'm right here. Get him out. Get me out of here. But then maybe Benny got a bit homesick. And he's says he's sick and he and Lil Dicky get their clothes like we got to go home. And he didn't stay the whole night. He said he was sick so he could go home. apartment. Goodbye. Goodbye.
