Dave McCarty, an initial baseman and outfielder on the 2004 Boston Red Sox group that won the Globe Collection, passed away Friday in Oakland, The golden state. He was 54.
The Red Sox introduced his fatality and stated it was triggered by a “heart occasion.”
McCarty was amongst the participants of the 2004 group that collected April 9 at Fenway Park to commemorate the 20th wedding anniversary of the Globe Collection and honor Tim Wakefield and his better half, Stacy, both of whom passed away of cancer cells in the previous 6 months.
Kevin Youkilis, McCarty’s Red Sox colleague, commemorated him on social networks.
