OAK CREEK, Ill. (AP)– Among Oscar Mayer’s warm dog-shaped Wienermobiles wound up turned onto its side after collapsing on a country Chicago freeway, cops claimed.
The Wienermobile struck an automobile Monday early morning along Interstate 294 and its chauffeur blew up and overcorrected, triggering it to roll onto its side near the Chicago residential area of Oak Creek, Illinois State Cops claimed.
No injuries were reported after the collision, which triggered the closure of the best lane of northbound I-294 for greater than an hour, authorities claimed.
An agent for the Oscar Mayer brand name, which has numerous Wienermobiles, informed the Chicago Sun-Times it’s “happy that everyone entailed is risk-free and there were no injuries.”
